Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the vsdx.app website, your account, and the vsdx Mac application (together, the "Services"). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

The operator of the Services is vsdx.app. Contact: support@vsdx.app.

vsdx.app is not Microsoft, and the Services are not affiliated with or endorsed by Microsoft. Visio is a trademark of Microsoft Corporation.

The product

vsdx.app provides a native macOS application to open, edit, and save Microsoft Visio .vsdx files (and convert legacy .vsd files into a new .vsdx copy). Some features require a paid plan. AI diagram generation consumes credits and requires an internet connection.

System requirements and feature details are described on our website and documentation. We do not guarantee perfect rendering of every complex Visio file.

Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for activity under your account. Sign-in may use Google or email verification codes on vsdx.app. The Mac app uses browser-based authorization — you do not need to store API keys in the app.

You may delete your account where the product provides that option, subject to retention we need for legal or billing purposes.

Subscriptions, lifetime license, and credits

• Free tier allows opening and viewing files (read-only) without payment.
• Pro and Lifetime plans, and credit packs, are sold on vsdx.app and processed by Stripe.
• Prices, billing intervals, and included AI credits are shown on the pricing page at checkout.
• Subscriptions renew until you cancel through your billing portal. Lifetime is a one-time license for the app as described at purchase; it does not include unlimited AI.
• Credit packs and monthly plan credits are subject to the rules shown at purchase (including expiration rules, if any).
• Refunds are handled according to our refund policy stated at checkout or required by applicable law.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Violate laws or third-party rights
• Attempt to break security, reverse engineer, or overload our systems
• Use the Services to distribute malware or abusive content
• Misrepresent your affiliation with vsdx.app or Microsoft

We may suspend or terminate access for violations.

Intellectual property

vsdx.app owns the website, app, branding, and documentation. You retain rights to diagrams and content you create. Microsoft owns Visio trademarks and formats; we do not claim ownership of the Visio file format.

Disclaimers

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VSDX.APP WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR BUSINESS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred US dollars if you paid nothing.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Changes

We may modify the Services or these Terms. We will post updated Terms on this page. Material changes may be communicated by email or notice on the site. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
